Livia Alacantara – “Ordered a couple of items from Bootsy’s for myself and my family to try. My father tried the chicken pot pie and LOVED it. Said the size was HUGE and that it was tasty with a perfectly flakey crust. We also tried the Caprese salad with the homemade mozzarella which was great. The cheese was soft and you could tell it was quality. We also tried the gnocchi mac n cheese which was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved it and we continue to order it again and again! For dessert, we tried the key lime pie which is more tart than the usual key lime pie but we prefer it that way. The owner and the girls at the front were kind and helpful. Love having a healthy soul food option in town!”
Quincy Marlowe – “DELICIOUS!!! Comfort food like grandma used to make it – flaky crust, flavorful filling and plenty of beef and lamb in the pies we had. I could not finish mine, so I would say a great main course when you want to enjoy wholesome goodness without heating up your oven. The key lime pie had to wait till the next day, but was a very enjoyable, refreshing take on the local favorite. We’ll be back to try the other pies, quiches, desserts, etc.”
